Intergalactic (18in x 18in)

This painting was created using ArtResin, alcohol ink, and acrylic paint. ArtResin is a two part epoxy that dries with a smooth glass like finish.

I created this painting by mixing acrylic paint and alcohol ink into the premixed resin then pouring on the wood panel. After pouring several colors, I swiped the entire panel with a popsicle stick to blend the colors. Afterwards, I sprayed the surface lightly with spray paint and torched with a butane blow torch.
